Peace on Earth
This was my second vacation for a week at Casa Citron. There is enough space here that you can hang out quietly and let your mind rebalance. The architectural look is refined, clean, and understated. The pool area is heaven. Other guests are friendly and laid back. The owner, Juan Carlos, is a naturally gracious host. The day after I returned home, I booked my third stay…this time for two weeks. Casa Citron’s location in Oakland Park makes dining a fun adventure. Well rated Thai, Indian, Ethiopian, and French options and more are within walking distance to Casa Citron. If you want to kick it up a notch, the heart of Wilton Manors is just flat mile away. If you’re reasonably fit you can walk a couple miles east to the beach: I did.
The untimate place to stay
I have been to Casa Citron several times in the past and the hospitality of Juan Carlos has always been outstanding. The familityes are always immaculate warm and welcoming. The Location is easy to get to and find places to go and do Everytime that I have stayed there with a friend they are also amazed at the facility I would recomment Casa Citron to anyone.
Great Location
This place is very clean quiet and easy to get in any location around. The room is very comfortable. Definitely the place to stay in town and relax for a while.
Amazing Time
Spent a long weekend at Casa Citron with friends staying in the other rooms and what I thought was going to be an average stay ended up being one of the best stays we have had in a long time. The property is a mini oasis near the busy nightlife of Wilton Manors. JC was such an amazing host and such a beautiful person. He made this stay very comfortable and relaxing. Truly will be back with our friends, this will now be a yearly reunion spot. 10/10
Pleasant little retreat, comfy rooms.
While visiting Ft. Lauderdale for a weekend we chose this location and found it very accommodating. The owner helped reduce the amount of allergens in our room before our arrival and was very kind. Locations and other nearby attractions were provided so we had an idea of how to spend our day there. Thank you Juan!
The Break I Needed
I’ve had a great week at Casa Citron, this lovely clothing optional guest house for men. The breezy atmosphere is refined yet the mood is laid back. The owner, Juan Carlos, has been gracious: a big hearted naturally sharing guy, but not intrusive. I look forward to spending more time there. Mine wasn’t a vacation about going places and seeing sites, though I did take a bit of a cuisine tour, eating at Thai, Indian, and French restaurants. There are a huge number of well rated options within walking distance to Casa Citron. The heart of Wilton Manors is just over an easy mile away. If you’re reasonably fit you can walk a couple miles to the beach; I did twice. My stay here let me pause from my routine and quietly unwind… mission accomplished.
Second Time Around
My second time staying at Casa Citron. The location is convenient to everything--Wilton Manors, the beach, restaurants, etc. The pool is great for cooling off after a day of exploring and the outdoor seats are perfect for lounging and relaxing. The host Juan Carlos is so warm, genial, and attentive to guests needs. You can't go wrong with a stay here!
We love it!
This was our second time at Casa Citron and we found it as relaxing as the first time around. I particularly loved the outside shower next to United 1 where we stayed. Juan Carlos is a fantastic host, dishing out some essential local knowledge and of course giving two old codgers something to look at. We enjoyed our chats with JC sometimes in the morning over a cup of coffee or having a sundowner later in the day. We say: highly recommend!
Mr
Casa Citron is my new favorite place to stay in Ft Lauderdale area. The room is clean , comfortable with a kitchenette. Outside hot tub, heated pool and my favorite outside showers with hot and cold water. Location is central located to bar, restaurants and clubs on wilton drive. Highly recommend for a short stay or long stay ( stayed 8 nights). Host Juan Carlos is always available any concens and recommendations.
